About Me

I’m a clinical social worker with a deep love for real, honest conversations and practical support that actually fits people’s lives. I hold an MSW, am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and have over 15 years of experience in mental health as a clinician, consultant, and program developer.

Over the years, I’ve worked primarily in VA mental health settings, building coalitions with community mental health, walking alongside Veterans navigating trauma, stress, big life transitions, and the everyday impact of systems and structures. My style is warm, down‑to‑earth, and collaborative. I believe people are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to bring tools, perspective, and steady support—not judgment.

Program Development & Community Work
A big part of my passion lies in building and strengthening programs that truly serve the communities they’re meant for. I have extensive experience in program development—from designing new services to refining existing ones—always with a focus on access, sustainability, and dignity. I enjoy helping teams turn good intentions into clear processes, thoughtful policies, and day‑to‑day practices that feel supportive for both staff and the people they serve.

WRAP, Groups, and Training
I am a Certified Advanced Level WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) Facilitator and have led many WRAP groups and workshops over the years. I love the way WRAP centers people’s strengths, voice, and choice, and I bring that same spirit into my group work and training. I also provide facilitator training, supporting staff and peer specialists to lead groups that are structured, safe, and genuinely participant‑centered.

For more than 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with peer support staff, providing guidance, collaboration, and space for their unique expertise to shine. I value the power of lived experience and see peers as essential partners in meaningful, recovery‑oriented care.

Consulting & Clinical Supervision
As a consultant, I partner with organizations and teams to assess needs, develop or enhance programs, and build capacity through training, coaching, and ongoing support. I especially enjoy working with agencies that are committed to recovery‑oriented, trauma‑informed, and equity‑minded practice and are ready to make those values visible in how they operate.
I also offer clinical supervision, drawing on over 10 years of experience providing supervision to clinicians and peer support staff. My supervision style is reflective, strengths‑based, and grounded in ethics, real‑world practice, and genuine care for helpers doing hard work. Together, we look at clinical skills, boundaries, self‑care, and professional growth in a way that feels safe, honest, and encouraging.

An Invitation
If you’re looking for a thoughtful partner to help you grow as a clinician, strengthen your team, or develop mental health programming that truly fits your community, I’d be honored to connect and explore how we might work together.
